  I am from Central NY and finding REAL italian food in the south has been almost impossible. This resturant has great atmosphere, great service and great italian food. Thank goodness someone down south can make authentic italian food.

  The food was goodI did enjoy the meal. As I ate it, however, I compared it to the Olive Garden, and for the life if me, I can’t identify anything that makes this food so amazing that I’ d come here instead if the Olive Garden. This is sole based on my first visit. I had the white bean soup and combo special if steak, veal, shrimp, mashed potatoes and veggies. Again, everything was tasty, but not unlike anything that I’ve had at the Olive Garden at half the price. So, was the food good? Yes! Would I return? No! Why? Because I can get food that’s equally tasty at half the price elsewhere.

  Poorly managed and staffed. Clearly mismanaged and poorly staffed. I have been living in Dunwoody for just under a year but had not visited this restaurant before. I received an offer from Travelzoo, so I decided to give them a try. I purchased 2 vouchers for $49 each that were supposed to have a value if $100 each. Upon being seated, I informed my waiter of the vouchers and he had no idea what I was talking about. His English was also poor, so communication was additionally awkward. After directing him to speak to his manager he finally arrived back at the table to inform me that they would only accept one voucher ( 2 per table was clearly written on the voucher). I left as a matter if principle and a manager never attempted to speak with my wife and I. I did not get an opportunity to eat the food, but I did look at a very weak wine list for a very expensive restaurant. The only thing the waiter informed us about was the fact that no side items were included in the prices. not a particularly inviting way to present the menu. How about describing an entree or a special??This is clearly a poorly managed and staffed restaurant. The prices are as high as any establishment in Atlanta so I see no reason why they should be in business.

  Not so great. Can’t rely on a nice setting to replace good service and good food. Wine is amazingly overpriced. Same bottles sell in local grocery store @$12 but sell here @ $68 a bottle.

  WHO KNEW…that such an amazing world class Italian restaurant could be tucked away in a Crowne Plaza Hotel! Come hungry as multiple courses are definitely encouraged….there is also a weekday Prix Fixe Menu

  Mobile review We went here for a special occasion in the spring. We had a great time. The food was really good and the service was great. You will spend $30 to $50 per person. This is a wonderful place for a nice romantic evening. They had a duo playing and singing. Nice soft music, white table cloths and a great garden to take a stroll through after a great meal.   Awesome. La Cucina Italiana magazine rated as one of the best in the Southeast. Terrific and Holiday Inn Ravinia is a beautiful hotel specially in the summer when the gardens look best.The dishes are well prepared and the restaurant is beautiful. It has been around for a long time.There is a white and pink custard dessert that is not only beautifully presented but delicious as well. It’s still in the menu.The only downside is that it is expensive. Good for biz meetings or taking clients
