Beware. Went to Maggiano’s for a late dinner. When we left the restaurant was already closing….no customers were present in our area. As soon as I got home, I realized I left my cell on the table. I called the restaurant, but no one answered bcuz they were closed. I called first thing the next morning and no one turned my phone in. The ONLY people left in the restaurant were the employees. Very disheartening that my phone was stolen and never returned. Management said there are no cameras in the restaurant…..beware. Make sure you leave nothing behind….you won’t get it back.

Great overall. I just hosted a company event for nearly 40 people. Very accommodating, friendly, and right on the mark with wonderful food, great food, and excellent choice of wine. We will make this a favorite for future events with customers, too.

Great Experience!. There are few times I got out that my dining experience is just about perfect, but I am glad to say my experience at Maggiano’s last week was as close to perfect as it gets. I actually had never been to a Maggiano’s before, anywhere, and decided to try it out because it was by my hotel. I booked my reservation online and was immediately seated upon arrival. My server was knowledgeable, prompt, and attentive. I received a free appetizer (a $10 value) simply because it was my first visit to their restaurant. ALL OF THE FOOD, from the appetizer to desert, were cooked perfectly, hot, fresh, and delicious. It was even happy hour so I got a couple top-shelf drinks to treat myself as an added bonus. I visited Atlanta for a total of 2 1/2 days and my experience in that city was so terrible that I will probably never return, but my dinner at Maggiano’s was a terrific experience and unfortunately the highlight of my whole trip. I will definitely be returning to their other locations in other cities in the future.

Good home cooking meals. I’d never go there alone because the huge food portion. Plus, the place is ALWAYS packed. Comparing to Brio and Carrabba’s its cooking is heavier, with sauces and cheeses, and everything. The garlic bread is fantastic. Well, can’t say I never enjoyed … 🙂

This place isn’t moderately priced if you plan on getting an appetizer and dessert in addition to the main entree. I spent $40 eating alone. HOWEVER, the food was delicious!!

Stick to the sauce. Ordered the filet mignon. One of the worst I’ve had. Had calamari as an appetizer and thought it was good. The marinara was excellent. The help was very friendly but technically inept. Forgot to serve our wine with entree as requested. If you must eat here, go with the pasta. I guess if you’re a southerner with a severe lack of vowels in your last name and your last three meals were deep fried, you might enjoy this place.

You call this Italian?. Unsophisticated diners may actually like this place. The decor is nice, the service is good and the portions are large. But the food is mediocre, at best. 5/15/11 dining experience (Lobster Carbonara and Maggiano’s Salad) fell far short of expectations. The pasta dish was a faux carbonara with what tasted like canned lobster meat; the salad, ‘made with pancetta’ appeared to actually be made with Bacos, or some other factory-made substitute. Seriously, Olive Garden is more satisfying. Or, better yet, any Mom & Pop Italian eatery.
