Great neighborhood bar. Yes, this bar has had its issues with staffing. However, they’ve worked out the kinks in a way that makes me feel welcomed when I come through the door. The staff remembers my name, which is pretty great given the fact that I am not there every week. My understanding is that they are going to get a new higher end wine list, which is exciting and I always love the Dunwoody DooZie and the fish and chips! AND they have an agreement with Designated Driver Atlanta, so the $10 pick up fee is waived. That is responsible bar ownership! Give it another try if you haven’t been in a while.29 Jan, 2015The Dunwoody Doozie. This is the ultimate burger that comes cooked to order with cheese and fried onions. Get the sweet potato fries with sriracha mayo and you have the ultimate indulgence only three miles from home.

This place is a joke!. This is one of those places that started off great and then dropped the ball. They had some good people there for a while and then they changed management and staff. Now the food is sub par and the atmosphere is horrendous. I actually laughed out loud when I read the previous review because the swearing person that the reviewer refers to was actually the Director for the whole company. At least I’ve had an interaction with a person at this location that fits the same description and that is who he told me he was. O’Brian’s is apparently the same people as Dunwoody Tavern.
Earplugs Needed. My friends and I stopped in to try out the food and drink at O’Brian’s since it is so close to our homes, and the food was decent. But the atmosphere quickly soured us on going back. while enjoying our drinks and appetizers we heard loud cursing coming from the kitchen area. And after about a minute or so and a flurry of four letter words a short fat man came out from the kitchen area still cussing and threatening someone in the kitchen. We will not be going back! Very disappointed in the quality !
Ellen salomon. We ate at O’Briens Dunwoody and were so dissapointed with management’s attidude. The owner or manager came to our table and asked us how our dinner was. My husband commented his Cuban sandwich was NOT a cuban sandwich and explained why? The man listened and walked away. Period.He did not even offer us something else to appease our table of 6. My hamburger was not fresh. It was rare but it was a frozen patty and very lean and dense.It was hard to chew. I only ate half of it. i did not feel a frozen patty and not fresh hamburger meat was acceptable for $10. A fast food restaurant is where you find ta frozen patty..Our waiter was WONDERFUL.
Dinner. Very close to my home but the food was average and expensive.Would much rather make the drive to Mazzy’s on Holcombe Bridge.
We had high hopes for this place because its close by, but the food is not good and it’s expensive. Go to Marlowes tavern instead. It’s way better.
