GREAT BURGER ! Thanks for the recommendation 92.9 The Game !!!. Heard about this place by listening to local Atlanta sports radio station on 92.9 FM (The Game).Great recommendation !!One of the announcers did say this place was in the hood. The area that this restaurant is located in does not get a thumbs up, but Ann’s Snack Bar definitely deserves two thumbs up.I should mention for anyone venturing here from the suburbs — The environment surrounding this place is totally sketchy, but once we were in the restaurant, I felt comfortable. The staff and the patrons are all cool and Miss Ann is very sweet. I guess what I am saying is that I would caution anyone not to venture once outside of the restaurant…straight to the car and back home….with a full and satisfied stomach. We ordered and then waited for about 45 minutes before we got our food. From what I was told by others, this is kind of common. Make sure you have time. Worth the wait.My two sons are the most finicky of eaters. My 7 year old son initially complained about the burger sliding out of the buns, but once he got that under control he went to town and demolished his very large cheeseburger. My younger son finished the rest of his on the way home….that says a lot.As for me, I ordered the Ghetto burger. I was not disappointed. I am a skinny man with a fat man’s appetite. This burger was massive and very, very tasty. I assume the wait is because Miss Ann, herself, cooks every burger. Love the concept. Love the food and the simplicity of the place. As I said, worth the wait.
