Finally got to visit this world famous burger landmark and it was a trip. It looks like a rundown building with a old front porch with small quarters inside. I sat at the counter topped ordered the Ghetto combo and watched. Everyone works at a fast pace and its fun to watch the grill master season and prepare the burgers. The burger itself is giant and I couldn’t finish it in one sitting. Its filled with salty goodness and a savory overload. The chili, cheese and grilled onions bring it all home. They also offer split hot dogs that also look very good but other than that they have fries. If you want a real old school burger look no further than the Snack Bar.
There are a lot of things that should be on a persons bucket list. Having a Ghetto burger at Ann’s is one you should add to your list.The place itself could be the photo for hole in the wall restaurant. But once they fry up those two big patties of beef, add tomatoes, lettuce, grilled onions, chili and bacon you are set for an awesome meal.
