Good for lunch. I’ve only had one of their salads, but for the price and the amount of food you get I will definitely go back to try more from the menu. I had their scoop salad, with egg salad. The egg salad was not too creamy and the vegetables were fresh. Plus you get to shop around for some craft beer and wine while waiting for your order.

Try this place!. Really nice neighborhood option that is a hundred miles away from the fast-paced lunch routine. Seriously, a great fresh sandwich and a nice relaxing atmosphere with nice folks to talk to. Sandwich was made to order (tons of combinations on regular deli sandwiches) and was reasonably priced and, above all, was very tasty.
Hidden Jem. You probably won’t find a place to get a more personalized sandwich. I remember at one point I was going in every day for a week and a half. There’s only four chairs at this lunch counter tucked away at the back end of the Market but usually during lunch there’s someone from the neighborhood grabbing a sandwich and sharing some conversation. Meat and cheese is piled high on this big-breaded sandwiches and most of the toppings or condiments are free to add on. There’s only 10 types of sandwiches and a few salads but with all the dressings, condiments and toppings you can make many permutations of what they have. Just like a real delicatessen you can go in there and order just meat and cheese (mostly Boar’s Head stuff) but the selection is limited probably to keep just the popular stock and thus the freshest stuff on hand. They also have some daily pre-made sandwiches over in another refrigerated case. Another point of bragging–the Market has one of the best selections of beer and wine anywhere, hands down!!
