I’m always lookin for new taco spots in atlanta that me and my girlfriend can go to late nights and grab some tacos.. It was ok only liked 1 out of the 3 tacos I had.. Cool concept, seems like they need someone in the kitchen that cares my tacos were probably just thrown together it looked like

Oh how totally sad!! The …. Oh how totally sad!!The new tacos are bad.The tongue was bland and the bacon (pork belly) was just ok.Before the extra cost was worth it… Now, not so much!26 Jul, 2011Yum! Oranic, locally sourced ingredients… Tasty Mexican-ish flavors (remember I am Mexican). The empanada was delish, the arepas a bit dry but yummy and the tacos were great! The organic margarita with agave was awesome… SO glad we came! Y

The wait staff was fantastic. The guacamole was superb. But the garlic shrimp quesadilla that I ordered was so awful that I spat out my second bite and refused to eat more. Maybe something was rancid? Not sure, my date had the same reaction to it and the table had the odor of rotten food long after my plate was cleared away. My date’s beef tongue taco was flavorless and left us underwhelmed. Needless to say, the $40 tab was certainly not worth it.

Holy Guacamole.. I love Holy Taco! Don’t go here expecting your usual mexican food. Because they have everything but that. They have BBQ pork tacos, cows tongue tacos, squid tacos, etc. Don’t let those scare you off though. They are really delicious and to top it all off they have great margaritas. (I was not impressed by their Sangria). But, the chips and salsa are great. (And thier guac) the patio is great. and the overall atmosphere is enough to bring you back again and again.

I love this place. The patio is awesome. The tacos are great. I always get mine on soft corn but flour is an option. I like the brisket, pork, shrimp and recently have an affinity for the skirt steak. The black beans are awesome and the grilled corn is obnoxious in a sinful delicious way. Chef Phalen changes the enchiladas often and I have never had one that was not good. Try the diced apple and manchego salad if it is on the menu as well as the fingerling potatoes with caviar. Have an organic margarita and your experience will be complete.

This place may actually be holy.. I went there on a date not too long ago. Cute location in EAV. It was immediately obvious that this place attracts regulars, as everyone knew everyone else’s name, and all the servers. I got the pork brisket taco. It was great – the meat pratically fell into moist shreds when I looked at it. Guac was good, although I think it could have used some salt and lime.My friend got the torta and shared a bite with me. I had decided against it because it has turnips on it, and when I get Mexican, I don’t want vegetables, I want meat and cheese and carbs!! It was shockingly good. An interesting combination of flavors and textures that works perfectly in harmony. Next time I will definitely order that sandwich!!

No Service No Return. Previously, we had a good meal and service. However they may have a problem with Sundays. We went there after 12 one Sunday. Sat outside for 10 minutes no one came out to give us menus. There was only one table inside yet the servers saw us-we saw them looking at us. Simply got up and left. We won’t go back.
