This location had closed, its reopened & it stays packed, so it was definitely missing in the community. Went for the waffle & wings, the waffle iron was down. Long ago I use to stop for the grits & wings..the chicken was really greasy. The location by I285 is good, the parking lot has a lot of potholes & the marquee has broken glass..the neighborhood is a little rough, the prices are good & I remember long ago they had the best ice tea & cinnamon rolls. Their menu fits the community, we like grits & a combination of waffles & wings. The chicken was right out of the grease, large wings, fresh coleslaw. The manager & staff were diligent..they had a great special 5 pcs for 4.99 & I remember a sign advertising pork chops……regardless of the potholes & broken marquee, Mrs Winners obviously knows their audience & provides what they want. The chicken was very good, so was the slaw & biscuits….I’ll visit more, they are way ahead of KFC, Popeyes’s, & Church’s. Bravo Mrs. Winners!
