Not bad…but not the best. POOR MENU DESCRIPTION. The location is great, on Dekalb Ave. heading into downtown. The place itself is nice, lots of seats and windows. However, the coffee is not as good as I expected. Worse, the menu does not fully explain what is included in each drink. In particular, the mocha coffees (both hot and iced) are made int the Mexican style, which includes cinnamon. Most coffee shops would list these on the menu as Mexican mocha, or at least mention that that something other than chocolate is included. Yet there is no mention of this here. This could potentially be dangerous for someone who is allergic. In my case, I just really don’t like cinnamon. The taste does not agree with me. So I was very disappointed taking a big first swig of cinnamon-flavored iced mocha. Not what I was looking forward to on Friday morning. On top of that, the loud music kind of sucked. Something other than mediocre alternative metal would have been a better choice for morning sounds. Even if I had the time, I would have not stayed there because of this.

Best Coffee and Service in area. I literally make this coffee shop my weekly ‘treat’. The coffee is the best I have had in Atlanta. All of the baked items are baked onsite. The Banana Bread is to live for!. They are trying out some new soups that were tasty, too. The Pumpkin bisque was wonderful. I always get good service. And thier baked items are always fresh. The locals frequent this place because its generally quiet and away from the hustle and bustle.

Arrogant and hostile. The current manager runs the place like he’s the lord and you’re the serf. It’s a good location and the coffee’s OK, although not the best. It’s also overpriced compared to other coffee shops, and the chairs are really uncomfortable.

Nice Neighborhood Coffee Spot. Stopped by for the first time and think I’ll go back. Great coffee and a very good cinnamon muffin and a very nice neighborhood feel… and it’s always so much nicer when I can avoid McStarbucks.Need to go back for a more substantial breakfast because it appears they have some good breakfast sandwich options.
