This has to be the best neighborhood bar period. Fantastic rotating beer list, huge outdoor patio, and good food too (including a brunch menu on the weekends)! This place is our default, go-to home away from home.
Mixed feelings with midway. It’s great for soccer matches. I appreciate they support various soccer/futbol league play. The food pretty good with nice menu selection as well drink menu. The problem I do have is service is slow, sometimes incredibly slow. It can be middle of day or night on weekend or midweek, at the bar or table always slow slow slow. More than once I had to get my own menu and napkins. Slow service.
Don’t like smoking option
Wonderful. It doesn’t matter what you order at Midway it’s all good! The Fish and Chips, the Turkey Meatloaf, Burgers. I’ve been on three occassions and can’t think of a better establishment. Friendly service, cold beer and affordable prices, what more do you need. I just recently discovered that they rescue the occassional hound roaming the neighborhood. Go see them, eat, enjoy, and tip well.

Be prepared to wait…never come here if you are in a hurry.03 Jul, 2011The veggie corn dogs are really yummy with homemade creamed corn batter and a good mustard dipping sauce. Even the stubborn meat eater with me admitted that they were awesome and said he would even order for himself!
It’s ok. Its a cool little spot in EAV. they over cooked my steak, but that seems to happen a lot lately. not sure if I’d go back, not a fan of second-hand smoke…
Great Neighborhood hangout. This is one of the best new places I have found. Good food,good spirits and great people working there. The owners have a good presence and are very friendly.The only downside i have noticed, as well as some of the people I have spoken to at the bar, is the smoke. I think if they get a smoke eater the problem will be solved. This place is really a jewel. I would hate to see them lose business over a easily fixed problem.
