Midway is more of a bar with a good bar food menu than it is a restaurant. So it succeeds on that level. If you want somewhere unpretentious that you can stretch out and watch the game or enjoy the patio (and smoke wherever you want) while drinking beers and enjoying pretty good food, then this is your place. (However, if you want quiet fine-dining, this isn’t. )
Ugh!. Awful. Lousy, slow service. Wait staff ignored us until we finally flagged someone down. Loud, blaring music, had to yell for my table mates to hear me, and I couldn’t hear them. Impossible to have a pleasant dinner conversation. Smokey, even on the outdoor patio. Average food at best. Some people obviously like that kind of thing because the place seems to be a success, but not me. I won’t go back.
