Great Banh Mi for MeSuki Suki means like a lot, rightright??? Well, we like We Suki Suki a whole lot.It is a tiny caf in East Atlanta Village and only open for lunch. We had the traditional banh mi with the pate and also the barbecue pork banh mi. The traditional was really good. The barbecue port was outstanding. The staff is very friendly and prices are reasonable. I only wish that there were a few branches around town so that I could get my banh mi fix more easily!

If you think this is the best bahn mi you’ve ever had, you’re obviously an idiot. Is the lady that runs the place paying you to write these reviews? I hope so, because if she’s not, you have no concept of what bahn mi should taste like. I mean, they’re ok. They are, most importantly, in the village and not a 30 minute drive through Atlanta traffic away. A lot closer than Buford Hwy. But that’s about as far as the comparison goes. The chicken was tasteless. But that’s what you get when you cook on a George Foreman. What the hell is this place? A dorm room? The vegetables weren’t pickled properly (its called do chua), and it came drenched in Siracha, masking all the remaining flavor. The pork was good, though, the pate being pungent but not overpowering. Is this the best bahn mi in Atlanta? Heavens no. It’s a solid B, at best, mostly because it’s the ONLY bahn mi in East Atlanta.
Meh. @Barney, don’t think you have spent much time on Buford Highway. We have taken out sandwiches twice here and both times were ok but not great. The sandwiches lack the zing of a good banh mi from Lees, no good pickled ingredients. And the chicken tastes like it came out of a package, not grilled as you would expect. The wait is very long. Much room for improvement – good for a chicken sandwich but not the most incredible banh mi ever.
