Great Pizza
Friendly staff, great patio & awesome pizza – as good as any I’ve had in Rome. Thin and crispy the way Italians make it. Easy access across from East Point MARTA.
I bounce between Oz and Johnny’s in Hapeville for local pizza. Oz is great especially if you get one of the specialty combinations like the Mac. If you’re in the mood for a more traditional pizza joint (deliciously greasy) then Johnny’s is the place. Both have great friendly staff.
Great PIzza for an even Greater Price. Went to Oz last night with my dad before he left to go home, and we were both throroughly impressed. We were able to get two drinks, and a large pizza for less than 20 dollars. The pizza was not only huge, but also delicious. Much better than the chains (Dominos, Pizza Hut, and Mellow Mushroom).
Another Yankee agrees with Ken’s review. Crust a little soggy on the pointy end, but tasty with good sauce and toppings. Would definitely come again.
Wow. Shocked, is the word. I travel all over North America, and try pizza from local places all over. Occasionally you find something pretty good, but mostly I find pieces of cardboard covered in glue, and a few other things that are hard to call toppings. I had seen a few good reviews, so I decided to make the 20 minute drive to try it. Again, wow. This is one of those rare gems that makes you want to keep trying. This place just made my top 5 or maybe even top 3. I remember why I avoid the big 3, and look for something local. It’s not in my favorite neighborhood of all time, but it’s worth it. Awesome thin dense tasty crust(NY style), nice spicy sauce, taditional toppings, and some more neuveau as well. Sound like your kind of pizza, then don’t miss it.
My goodness this pizza is so freaking good! It’s no New York Style pizza but it’s close enough! And they have huge slices!
