Going to Australia soon, wanted to try the cuisine. Owner and staff were very friendly, meat pies were delicious- next time I will be taking a few home to freeze and have on-hand. Had the pepper beef, lamb curry and sausage roll. Small selection of Australian/South African groceries. Also had bread made in-house (did not try) for $2 and leftover bread from previous day for $1. Will be back again soon!
I loved this place from the moment I walked inside!! Very good, very delicious food. Their pastries are awesome! I really like the staff–go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I highly recommend this place.
Coffees are very good, and the pastries looked and smelled delicious.
The food is okay, but all if the styrofoam was a big turn off.
Great food and a great value! Had a burger and the fish and chips…Amazing!
EXCELLENT tuna sandwich! The workers were friendly and it was delicious! The fruit was also very fresh! I will go back for sure!
GROSS. As an Australian who has have been living in the States for the past 5 years, I was SO excited to visit the Aussie bakery cafe on a trip to Atlanta. This place was a real letdown. First of all, they were out of basically everything – I thought they were supposed to be a specialty store?? I was so disappointed I couldn’t get a cherry ripe and the last couple of chocolate bars were literally dusty so they are not well stocked. The lamingtons were good but not authentic, the pies were disgusting and I can’t for the life of me understand the positive reviews on them. The pastry was dry and tasteless and the filling was mushy, especially the chicken veggie one, it was made up of a jelly substance. Basically it was a huge waste of money (they’re not cheap, either) and this is NOT representative of Australian food, sucks that they are making Americans think real Aussie pies are this crappy.
