Reasonably good place, but found the food, just had one dish, to be pretty average.Ordered their popular tortilla chicken soup, very large serving. So much so, I struggled to finish half of it and by then I was done for my dinner. So, serving size to be kept in mind before ordering.
My first time at this location of Chuy’s, having been a regular at the Dunwoody location since it opened. Just dropped in for beers and a bite with some friends. I love the Hatch Green Chili’s that they put in some of the dishes – if you like the taste of peppers get that – it’s a bit spicy but not over-bearing and the flavor is fantastic. The service at this location is competent – sorry about the short review but I didn’t spend much time here. independentrestaurantreview.com
I had a great lunch with virtually no wait. Salsa was great fresh ingredients and it had a good kick to it. It was like a blend between the standard Mexican Restaurants and a Pappasito’s. I wouldn’t compare it to Pappasito’s upscale item menu. This is more like a Tijuana Joe’s.
Disappointing to say the least. Twenty min wait and people who came in after us were seated first. Salsa was the best thing. Food took a long time to get and it wasn’t really hot when it came. No grilled fish option for tacos. I had high hopes, but I could have spent half the time and money for much better food at Willies down the street.
No wait, but 20 minute wait. We called for a party of 7, and was told no call aheads because there was no wait, we arrived 10 minutes later only to be told 30 minute wait

Eager, helpful servers and great food. This colorful restaurant brings new and fresh Mexican flavors to the Kennesaw area. The freshness of the ingredients is noticeable and makes this restaurant stand out from the rest of the Mexican-food restaurants in the area. While very busy during the opening days, the servers bustle about with smiles on their faces and an appreciation of the foods they serve. It was very helpful to have the servers explain the ingredients and menu items. I have eaten there several times since opening and enjoyed a different menu item each time. I would definitely recommend Chuy’s.
