The best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had. Fun place! Amusing, homey, historically intriguing no-frills atmosphere. The Chicken Fried Steak seemed to pop out at me as l perused the huge menu on the wall outside the front door. I was incredibly pleased with the golden brown, super-crunchy, melt-in-your-mouth coating that was not too-little but not too-much. The meat was perfectly tender and tasty. Paired with my selection of mashed potatoes and gravy and expertly-crafted fried green tomatoes, it was the perfect meal. I have dreamed about it ever since. Hungry? Will definitely return next time I’m in Marietta.

Nice place to eat!! The owner is a nice guy and runs a great all around resturant. Food is consistently good, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Can’t go wrong here
Excellent food and service!. Menu is extensive and everything I have tried was good, except the mac and cheese is not my style-I like a thicker sauce. Pancakes and bacon are awesome. Salmon is very good. Broccoli casserole very good. Loved all the southern veggies that I have tried–I would recommend it.
Fabulous!!!. Every bite was better than the one before. We literally gobbled up our food and cleaned our plates.Then there was dessert. The strawberry cake is just like Grandma used to make. Friendly staff. What a surprise!Wish I lived in the area!!
