Simply put…this place is scary! Despite all of the warnings on the various online sites, I made the mistake of going to form my own opinion. I should have saved my time and money. The service was useless and rude. They were uninformed about the menu, and acted as if we were a burden. The management/ownership was even worse. After being served the completely wrong entrees, we were still forced to pay for items we didnt order! We just paid the bill, left, and sworn never to come back. After seeing the sub par standards, we figured they obviously need the money more than we do. Word of advice to hemingways…throw in the towel so the Marietta square can fill the void with an actual restaurant that is worthy of the beautiful space you are wasting.
Terrible. I want to like this place for its location but it’s just aweful. They do occasionally have good music though. However, everything is served in/on plastic or styrofoam. The food is truly aweful…seriously the worst. And, they’re not good about fixing an order or comping it either. The chef can’t fix it bc he can’t cook to begin with, and the waitress’ are not very good and they don’t want to deal with you if you’re unhappy. The drinks are ALWAYS weak and overpriced. It’s an ok place to meet up with a group, have a beer or wine(not a drink), and then move onto a better place on the square.

First for me. Simply not going based on the reviews. Time and money are too important for stuff like this.
We sat on the outside patio. Service was friendly and quick. They accommodated our three children well. Had the halfPriced Reuben for St. Party’s Day an was surprised at how much corned beef was on the sandwich.
Terrible service. Owner is extremely rude. Asked him to remove a spilled drink from our tab and he refused and threatened to kick us out. Waitress demanded we sign our tab and give to her immediately and hovered over our table until we signed. Poor service avoid at all costs. There are plenty of other bars in Marietta that actually value their customers.
Just ordered loaded potato skins to share as an appetizer. I wish I could figure out if there was a way to include a picture of what we got for $7.95. Pathetic. Will not be back.
