  I went in 3 weeks ago and my order was wrong. So the next Friday I went in and let them know, the wife apologized and gave me a cookie in addition to my bagel. The cookie was as hard as a rock and clearly days old I couldn’t believe it. I came in today and asked for a blueberry bagel with berry cream cheese on the side (told the wife). She said okay and proceeded to make my order. The husband started ringing up the man that came in behind me and skipped ringing me up. He later paid attention and noticed he didn’t see me so he said did I pay yet? I said no and he asked me to repeat my order again so he could ring me up and took my card. I told him and was charged whatever amount to my card because he didn’t tell me the amount he just charged my card. I waited another minute and was given my bag. This time I checked it because the first time I came in 3 weeks ago my order was wrong I received a plain bagel, not a raisin as I had asked for. The blueberry bagel was in there, but there was plain cream cheese on the side. I told the husband and he said well I’ll have to charge you extra for berry, well it’s cranberry. (Side note – That was unnecessary to even say cranberry not berry it seemed sort of demeaning and condescending to me). Then the wife seconded his notation and said yes it costs more. That is horrible customer service, I told them my order twice, they got it wrong and wanted to charge me extra for cranberry cream cheese? I just walked out because it wasn’t worth fighting for. The bagel is hard and stale today and wasn’t even toasted. 🙁 I’ll never go back again. I tried to give them countless chances to fix the errors, but they continue to happen.

  !!!MMmmmm!!!. I did not even know this place existed until a coworker brought them to work this morning for our monthly meeting. We normally go to Einsteins but there service had really gotten bad and finally shut down. I’m so glad it did, because it gave the opp to try Hoboken. I have never been up north but I can say this was the best bagel I have ever had. It was so soft and airy but yet flavorful. The cream-cheese was amazing and so fresh. I actually came downstairs after lunch to see some left over and had one for an afternoon snack! I will definitely be visiting this place on my own and will try one of the subs. Great Job Hoboken, you have hooked this southern boy.
