Il Mee. I have to be honest! It is the best Korean food in all of Atlanta and possibly Georgia. I’ve tried several Korean and il Mee tops them all. However, the service can be very bad at times. The ladies are pushy, not friendly and impatient. It’s very unnecessary at times.
It’s pretty good!. For a small place in the middle of nowhere, Il Mee is pretty good. My friends had bulgogi and yookaejang (a spicy Korean soup), and I had their spicy chicken dish. It was surprisingly delicious, but as a Korean, I’d have to say that my mom makes it better (of course). This place is as close to authentic that you will get in the more secluded part of the Kennesaw/Marietta area. The lunch specials looked great but we went on the weekend and they don’t provide the specials on the weekend. If you just want to try a decently priced Korean meal, then I highly recommend going during a weekday for lunch. I’m sure you will get your money/cravings worth.
