Went last night with another couple before theater. Nice ambience, generally, although the acoustics make everyone’s conversation loud when it gets busy. They were shorthanded–one wait person (lady owner? Authentic French accent) and one cook. Still got us out in about an hour and 15 minutes. Food–awesome! Tasty, hot, reasonably priced. Would absolutely go back. Just allow enough time. Good food is worth it!
Had a wonderful meal and the owners were very pleasant and helpful. Other than having to pay extra for the bread, the food was reasonably priced and was in line with quantity / quality and local norms. The pleasant atmosphere and romantic setting offset the concept of having to pay for the bread. The house salad dressing was so good I would buy it by the bottle if it was offered. We will definitely be back.
DELICIOUS and cool. I love this place…..so delicious..The atmosphere is real hip..just come and relax . I had a house salad with french bread then a delicious florentine crepe to die for. A got a glass of house red and for dessert chocolate mousse crepe with cherries and almonds on top. YUM YUM YUM oh ya and a latte. lets just say this is a little french paradise tucked away next to the railroad tracks….so cool… and also i love the chef owner ….just a real cool mello guy with a hip attitude….nothing better then the owner chef taking care of you…merci monsieur Alfred… i will surely come back with more friends and family….I LOVE LE CAFE CREPE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Amazing food! Everything is great, even the salads are wonderful. I can’t get enough of this place. If you want more than crepes, go to gourmet night. I still have dreams about the dessert that was served. dlicieux! I highly recommend the French onion soup.
Sometimes It Takes More Than Just Good Food ….. …..like a pleasant and friendly attitude — which I found lacking in the owner/chef of Le Cafe Crepe.A group of friends came here for lunch. The owner was abrupt. Cold. Acted like he was doing us a favor. To give him the benefit of the doubt, he appeared to be under-staffed — but we were afraid to ask for anything! As far as the meal — it was fine. Limited menu, but as evidenced by the name, they serve and specialize in crepes. My savory crepe was indeed good.My daughter came here for dinner with her French class — and loved it. She said the dessert crepes were amazing. I promised her we would come back with her — which we will. So, Monsieur Owner — when we do, please try to be a little more gracious. It’s a good way to win customers.
Not open. So i loves french places, and the day of my marriage anniversary, i try to make it special, we drove over there and what i found?a place closed.well i just want to say.please open ore often.
Une surprise plaisante!. Chose this spot for a pre-theatre dinner. First impressions on entering were good. However I was a little disappointed to find that the menu consisted almost entirely of crepe dishes… I know, the clue is in the name. I should have guessed. But what a surprise. We had a wonderful meal. I started with a simple tomato soup. But this was delicious! Creamy and a little spicy, with small chunks of fresh sweet juicy tomato submerged within. My main was a crepe, filled with chicken and mushroom in a mornay sauce. It was perfect. My wife had the chicken and spinach crepe and it was equally delicious. We shared an ice cream desert. French vanilla ice cream with fresh fruit in a clever little raspberry coulis. A lovely meal with portions just perfect before the theatre. We will go again.
