I have passed by this place several times over the last year. And have tried the couple of other spots right there in the area so I had to try this one. Craving some good fried seafood tonight I ordered Meal #3, Fried Grouper and Fried Shrimp with sides of fried okra and coleslaw. I have tried other seafood places around and nothing hasreally made the cut so I was hoping I had found my spot. Well I have found my spot! The fish and shrimp were fried perfectly, well seasoned, and the breading was just the right amount of crunch. The fried okra was cooked just as well. Typically when I have ordered coleslaw it is bland but this coleslaw was nice. I also ordered theFried Catfish Po’ Boy. It was equally as good but I would have used catfish nuggets instead ofa fillet. That’s neither here nor there it was still good. They also have fresh seafood should you want to take some home and cook up yourself. Seasonings, sauces, and boudin sausages also. Do not expect to walk into some contemporary seafood market but no worries the food speaks for itself. I will be coming back here very soon.
