There are around 10-12 better options for Japanese/Asian cuisine within a 2 mile radius. This includes the three options located at food court at Town Center Mall in Kennesaw.If you even think about stepping inside this restaurant be forewarned that you are wasting valuable time and money. There is nothing good to write about this place. The floors are old and filthy. The food is beyond terrible. The chefs are not very good at cooking things correctly. I’ve never had fried rice that is mushy and sauces that are so overwhelming sweet that it just ruins the entire meal. The vegetables were almost cooked properly but were still hard and still borderline raw. Service is slow and very inattentive. Essentially no one working here gives a flip about the customers. Wait staff is slow and the manager is extremely rude and nasty.A week later I went to Penang down the road and had one of the best meals in months.Bottom line: Go anywhere else to eat in Kennesaw. The fact they have been open for this long is one of the biggest upsets in foodservice history.

I’ve never seen any other jap restaurant have a problem with air flow. I understand staff gets hot at work, but IT’S WORK. It’s more important for customers to be comfortable. I’ve seen creamy ginger dressing before, nothing worng with it. This ginger dressing was creamy and not good. The dressing and the white sauce both were riddled with orange zest. That totally ruined the flavor. Yeah, when orange zest got popular, it showed up in everything, even toothpaste. This is not the place for orange zest! All food that was prepared in front of us had too much pepper. Then, I think I can at least warm my hands by washing them in the bathroom…. WRONG. NO HOT WATER!! I’ve worked 10 years in restaurants, so I understand that sometimes bad things just happen. This was beyond my standards. I will not be going back.

This last time we went here the sushi came almost ten minutes AFTER our two meals. The waitress was more concerned with the basketball game on tv. The broccoli was barely warmed up, very hard and undercooked and I only ordered sushi and vegetables with rice this time so I was very disappointed. The sushi was very good though.
NO NO NO. This was a last resort/choice as the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed. Service was ok. However, food was not good for the prices they charged. There is no need to go into details of what we ordered. We were not satisfied. No return visit from us.
Service was horrible. Went half the meal with out a refill on drink because not server was around. Messed up order and was difficult to get fixed. Spent over $80 for two people.
Come for lunch. I come here on Sundays for lunch, meals are only $6-8 for a BIG portion. It’s not the fastest service, but if you have a little time, its fun to watch the chefs cook right in front of you and serve a delicious meal. The fried rice is fantastic and meats are quality. Recommended.
