This place is very disgusting. The water was cloudy, the silverware was dirty, and the table was greasy or something. We even asked for clean silverware and the silverware they brought us was dirty too. Absolutely disgusting!
The service is really quite bad at the Butcher and the Baker. It took 30 minutes to get our drink order. I eventually just went to the bar and got the drinks myself. The food is pretty good but don’t show up hungry. The portions are very small. Not a good value at all. Too many other good places to go.
Hey, now! When I first came in, I will admit I thought they were trying too hard…. The menu is VERY haute…. But everything I tried was superb. As usual, I was out with a large group, so we had most every appetizer…. Then one of everything on the menu. Fish, beef, and pork, all inventively prepared with excellent flavors. I was blown away. The Marietta square has finally grown up!
Very Impressed. We loved the food! The Charcuterie and Cheese plate both had an assortment of amazing flavors. Wally at the bar was very knowledgeable and the Chef was able to accommodate my wife’s gluten free diet.
Empty Tables and could only sit at the bar. We stopped in to try a dessert. We’re told all the tables were reserved. It was 830 pm on Friday and the place was half empty. . We were told we could sit at the bar which had 2 other customers. We wound up ordering the cheese plate since the desserts really did not hit what we were looking for. The bourbon and wine were very good. We left and the same tables were empty. Still not sure why you would tell a paying customer tables were reserved that were not going to be used. Here’s my advice. Keep your empty tables. I will not be back.
So-so. The bread was the tastiest item. Overpriced for what you get. I love farmTo table, but not a fan of this place.
