It just melts in your mouth….excellent!03 Mar, 2015Sharon Caldwell. I love everything that I’ve tried. Especially the crab claws, the fried shrimp and the Beef PoBoy…am drooling just thinking about it…delish!! $
Cozy. As with most hole in the walls this is a great place to eat especially if you like cajun food. There is a vast selection of other items on the menu. For the price and menu items I would put them up the big guy on Windy Hill. We shared several menu items and they were a nice catch. There is a limited selection of beer but they are great. Amanda did a great job servings us. We will be back and plan to bring other family and friends.
AVerage at best. I chose to try this place because I recently visited Nawlins and I loved the food. However, this is the WORST imitation of new orleans cuisine ever. I ordered the blackened salmon with a side salad and jumbalaya. My boyfriend ordered the combo po boy with a side of fries and the gator queso. The po boy was ok, the fries were your average everyday fries with a seasoned salt on them……BLAH. The queso BARELY had any gator in it but was tasty. The WORST was my meal. The jumbalaya was under seasoned and the salmon was half cooked half RAW. Yes, it was RAW!! The server had the nerve to charge me for half of my meal because I ate half of it. The only thing I hate worse than bad food is bad service. THUMBS DOWN.
Real Louisiana Food!!!. One of the best shrimp Poboys I have ever ate. Their bread is authentic new orleans style. The beignets are a must. Also try the chicken and sausage Gumbo. If you like real louisiana food this is place is a MUST!
A Cajun Hidden Gem. I believe you could pick this place up and drop it anywhere in the French Qtr and nobody would know it came from Atlanta. Great classic Po-Boys, daily specials, Fried Gator, what more could you want from an authentic Cajun joint? Gumbo is a hit or miss, sometimes wonderful, sometimes spotty. They used to have File’ for the asking but last time I asked they were out.. Still a hidden gem for Atlantans.
The owner is from Slidell, LA and is a Katrina ex-pat…a real Cajun instead of some kinda wannabe. The brunch is awesome and andouille nice and spicy. Catfish out of this world. Try the po-boy and the beignets. Barflies aplenty and chickory coffee gets cold as soon as you add cream but still worth the trip. I do prefer zatarains jambalaya over theirs but red beans and rice is yummy
Some of the best Cajun food in Atlanta!!. I absolutely love this place!!!!!!!!!
