Fast, friendly, fresh, and yummy!
Great for the price.. They have specials on some days of the week which is great. It’s also close to the mall, so it’s something different than your normal food court food especially after a day of shopping. The head manager was really nice and helpful, smiling away. Some of the other workers seemed a bit new, but the manager stepped up to help out. We enjoyed the food. It’s sort of like a different version of Chipotle. Had a really great salsa bar too! Fast, reasonable priced, good Southwest food.
A Great place to get good SW food. Be sure to say exactly what you want.
A decent moe’s. Fast food burritoes as expected.
$5 Moe’s Mondays. For $5 you get any burrito (which easily lasts for lunch the next day), chips, and a drink. For being budget conscious (or a broke student), it’s an appealing dinner option when I don’t feel like cooking. I really like the salsa bar. I could go to Moe’s just for the combination of hot chips and cold salsa. The place is always clean–even when it’s busy.
Moe’s Blows. First, let me apologize for the title–I couldn’t resist. I imagine there are many people that would enjoy this place. I will start off with the good points: the staff is friendly and efficient, the environment is clean, choices abound, and there’s nothing inherently wrong with the food. Now to the reason for the treason: Many of the ingredients of their fare are simply way too bland for enjoyment, yet you are faced with poor quality condiments with which to attempt to dress it up. I applaud the principle, but I’ve never seen a larger variety of sauces and salsas, the entirety of which I hated. Also, to me the price doesn’t match the quality. Yes, the food is cooked properly, but it is poorly seasoned in my opinion. I can spend the same amount at Mi Rancho or Burro Loco and get a similar meal with loads more flavor. Lastly, Moe’s charges extra for things like cheese and sour cream. At most other places I’ve been to, those types of things are included. I do like the fact that Moe’s has guacamole–you can’t get that at Taco Bell. Or can you?
Fast food at it’s worst.
