WE’RE THERE. Anytime we want Mexican food, this is our spot. Healthy portions, always full of flavor & great service. In this economy the prices are right too! I highly recommend if you are in need of a burrito fix!!!
Monterrey Mexican – Evans. I have frequented the Monterrey restaurants for years and been happy with the food, but lately the service has been the pits. Today I was told by a waiter prior to ordering that I could use a coupon, and when it came time to pay he said the manager said I could not use it. I spoke with the manager who said the waiter was new, and I argued that he should honor the coupon (worth $5). I told him I wouldn’t be back, and he said that was ok, that the same man owned all the mexican restaurants in the area. This kind of attitude ensures I will never return there, or anyone else owned by this guy.
Ok at best. Have gone to this restaurant several times. The service is ok – but the food is only mediocre. The music and televisions seem loud and distracting. I always feel in a rush to eat and leave.
Muy bueno!. I enjoyed it. I had the Pollo Parrilla and it was fresh, light, and tasty.
Awful!. Ok, so unless you just want to get drunk cheap and sing some karaoke, this isn’t the place to go. The food isn’t taco bell, but it doesn’t taste very authentic…actually, it doesn’t taste very much at all. If you have 4 items on your plate they will all taste the same, just different textures. Service is friendly but that’s all it has going for it. I really detest this place, it’s just like Las Lomas, Mi Rancho, and El Kioskos.
