  Great dogs and sausages!!!! Also, enjoy the 50’s and 60’s music. The staff is very pleasant and they give 10% discounts to vets, teachers, and 911 responders.

  So I’m from Chicago and love hot dogs. Sam’s was a great find! I had a Chicago dog that was great! We also had the Mac n Cheese dog that was really good! Great service and friendly folks make this a great find!

  Cool little place owned by a Veteran!!!. They offer a 10% for military, emergency service workers & teachers. The AC doesn’t work at the time of this review. I had the Mooing Pig in a #1 combo. The dog was awesome. I used on of their groupons which was set for $5.50. This wasn’t enough to cover their basic combo of $5.50 because of tax. I believe the groupon should at least cover the cheapest combo. Overall great place that needs to work out the kinks. **UPDATE** The owner(s) here care about their customers. My review on Facebook was responded to with in 20 minutes of my posting. They addressed each issue I had. This makes me want to go there even more and to share my experience that I halls at the restaurant itself and how the owner(s) responded to me.

  Not going back. First, the hot dogs were very good and the fries were cooked perfectly. We won’t be going back there, because, while I didn’t start timing, our order took over 20 minutes. They apologized to the person in front of me for taking so long, and they apologized to me for taking so long. We took our order to go, so we didn’t notice until we got to our destination that they shorted us one hot dog…good thing I got two or my spouse would not have eaten. They took forever and ripped me off, so we will not be going back there.

  Feels like of like a throw back. Sam’s offers a variety of hot dogs and toppings. They also have different types of chili, such as mild, hot and atomic. As for the hot dogs themselves, do not come here expecting something gourmet. The dogs and buns themselves are nothing fancy. The toppings and specialty dogs are worth a try. They also offer Frito pies and chili cheese fries and soup. It is not real expensive, though you probably could get hot dogs cheaper at some chain places. The drinks are just canned/bottled drinks, not served on ice. It also looks like they have a drive through, though if they are busy you might have to wait a few minutes. I recommend people check them out and give them a shot for themselves.

  Good dog. Love the feel of the place. Didn’t like the LOOONNNG time it took to take an order, but it’ll probably improve with experience. So glad to see a small local business in the neighborhood. I hope they get their processes together. Also, closing time is important, but on a day when your shop is featured on the local news you might want to extend your hours a little. 7:00 seems a but early for this kind of business.

  Sam’s is open and has the best hot dogs in the area by far!09 Dec, 2014Can’t wait!. I’m so excited to have Sam’s come to Augusta. They are all over in W.Va, Virginia, and the Ohio river valley. They are even opening up in NC. Sam’s has Awesome 100% All Beef Hot Dogs and their chili is the best I’ve ever had. Hurry Hurry Hurry
