Hidden Treasure. Went to the new location off of Washington. Its in an area that is developing and once it is established Toki will be a big hit (only if they continue what they are doing). We went on Mothers Day thinking it was going to be packed arriving close to 5pm(typical busy hour for restaurants) but we were the only ones in there. Its an adequate size but I cant comment on how it would be if were busy. First impression was great. Look like an authentic Japanese restaurant that was decorative and looked modern. Everything was clean and we were greeted with a friendly host. There is a lot to choose from in there menu. The Bento Box is the best for your money and it will really filled me up. I was surprised that my box came with 8 california rolls!!! Ask for the wine sauce its good with everything. I was very impressed with my waiter as well. Very respectful and knew the menu very well. And he never let my sweet tea go below half without filling it. Got to love that. This is a great place to eat at. I would recommend it if your a fan of Japanese/sushi. Dont let the name fool you though, this is not a hibachi restaurant where they grill in front of you but the food is just as good. This place is a keeper, I shall return.
Family friendly. Nice little neighborhood sushi and teppanyaki (but cooked in the kitchen) place. Very reliable, well prepared, typical stateside Japanese at reasonable prices. We usually get the tempura, grilled steak and shrimp, and sushi. Doesn’t disappoint. They also have soba and katsu, but we haven’t tried it them yet.
