This is our go-to mexican restaurant, its the perfect storm, good food, good staff, reasonable prices and close to home, we enjoy the patio seating during the spring and Autumn, great salsa and chips, very good burritos.
I stopped in for lunch recently to check this place out. As it is directly across from the hospital, I expected it to be busier. Service was fast, chips were good. I ordered the chile colorado, and it was an interesting meal. The menu states steak strips, but mine was a mixture of coarsely ground meat and strips. The chipotle seasoning wasn’t overpowering, in fact it tasted more a mix of picadillo and steak strips than anything else. It was tasty, but not what one would expect ordering this meal. Portion was a good size, and tortillas warm and soft. I would try this place again.
