By far the worst pizza and fries I’ve ever eaten. Don’t waist your hard earned money there. Burnt and if you haven’t eaten cardboard, please try this burnt cardboard with cheese.
Great Food made with pride and care. This is a great place to relax and eat. All food is made fresh to order and with quality ingredients. A lot of thought has gone into Empire’s menu. There is a fantastic deck on sunny days – bring a deck of cards and just enjoy life, good service, maybe a draft beer and delish calzone, pizza or perhaps a spinach salad. You will not be let down or rushed out!
It Depends. If the owner makes the pie it is not that good, if the wife makes the pie it is very good. I tried the place 4 times.. it is not worth the hit or miss. The owners wife is friendly but the husband is not nearly as friendly. There are better places to have a great pizza, no way is this NY pizza…Cosmo is much better, and so is Cameli’s.
Wings are great, especially .45 cent thurs. Homemade mozzarella sticks, great meatball sub, and fun atmosphere to be around. Got to try the s’more calzone!
I figured NY style pizza… had to be great!. Was I wrong… when the sause has so much oregano, that it overpowers every dish that it is in… it ruins the flavor of a dish. They use this sause on everything. I couldn’t get past it. I like to taste all the flavors in a dish, including the meat, vegatables or pasta, not just OREGANO. From what I read the owner has a garden out back, so he uses fresh herbs & veggies, he needs to stop planting so much oregano…lolMy husband got a pizza, he didn’t like it much, nothing made it stand out. Biba’s and Ida’s are still the best I have found so far.Oh and please, please, please don’t eat the chilli!!! it was grey and for lack of a nice word… bad.The waitress was very sweet and seemed pretty understanding, but if I wanted somekind of tip after a meal like that I would be too.
I ordered the lasagna, and it tasted great. However, it took a very long time to make. It was worth the wait though. The tira misu was also delicious. The place is a little small as well but is good overall.
Good food. The food at this restaurant is very good. I would recommend the Chicken roll or the Egg Plant roll. The price of the food is reasonable. The only negative is that it takes a long time after you order for your food to be served. It is worth the wait but do not go if you are in a hurry or if you are very hungry.
