Went there today at 11:30 with my lady lady friend. Upon entering the hostess looked her up and down making her feel very uncomfortable and then proceeded to ask me what she was doing with a guy like me. I laughed it off and continued to joke about it with her and my girlfriend about what a beautiful women like her was doing with a scum bag like me. Being thick skinned I just blew the whole thing off and when we left I thanked her for the wonderful food and shook her. She then shook my girlfriends hand and told her that if she ever got tired of me then she could help her out. Obviously she was gay and that is fine but being so offensive to me and making my girlfriend and I both extremely uncomfortable is why we will never go back. Excellent Chinese restaurant in the Windermere area! The food is very good especially the Mongolian Beef and Egg Drop soup. Very nice decor with unusual sinks in the clean restrooms. Stop in and see Josephine the owner, she will take good care of you!!
Don’t bother. After looking through the reviews, I decided to go and see if in fact this is a great place to eat. The service from the waitstaff good, the owner NOT so much! The food is your typical Chinese and Thai, the kind you get at a fast food joint, nothing special. The chairs are very uncomfortable, they dig into the backs of your legs. If your looking for good Chinese or Thai food, keep driving this place is just average. There is not another Asia restaurant close by, that’s why the reviews are good. Also, the owner has a contract set up with restaurant.com, but does not accept all the denominations, she decides that day if she will accept them or not.
My favorite. The BEST Asian food in Forsyth County. Usually had once every two weeks when I was still in high school, we became regulars and the owners would always give us complimentary appetizers. Love the place. Whenever I’m home for break, this is on the list for places to eat at.
Really terrible customer service. They would not honor our Restsurant.com certificates. The food was ok but we will never go there again.
The WORSE Service EVER!. This restaurant gave us the worst service of ANY restaurant I have eaten in this century. Over 10 minutes to get a coke, 25 minutes until the soup showed up and THEN ANOTHER 10 minutes for the spring rolls!! After an hour+ and no meal we asked to cancel the meal and for a check for the soup, spring rolls and coke. TEN MORE minutes w/o a check we put $$ on the table and left. The waiter had the nerve to chase us down in the parking lot w/o even checking for the $$ on the table. Not just us..the table next to us had 7 or 8 people and I saw their food brought out 1 or 2 dishes a time over about 25 minutes. OH yes, the place was only 1/2 full!! AVOID this place if you value your time, what little food we did get tasted about on par with a middle-of-the-road carry out. NOT cheap for dinner either. Better to go 2 doors down to Quanto Basta for great Italian and super service, or if you must have Asian try Asian HOUSE down a mile in back of Walgreens.
Yummy. Drove by looking for a place to eat with my husband and son , wasn’t expecting to find any place with seating available (for Dinner) on Valentine’s day . The service was fast and the food delicious. I like the decor alot. The staff was polite and attentive. I would recommend this restaurant to any friend or family member.
