Take Out. I ordered the Veggie Pizza which was good. The medium Vineyard salad(I was really looking forward to the salad): 1T of pine nuts, 1T of blue cheese, 2 onion slices, half-a-head iceberg lettuce for close to $7. Not worth the price. This restaurant and the food served, which I guess has turned into a franchise, was once written up in the AJC, late’90s, early 2000s, as outstanding. I would not classify the food as outstanding at this time. I do believe they have a captive audience.
I took the family to Pepperoni’s last thursdays and was pleasantly surprised that they had the place set up specifically for children. The service was wonderful and the pizza was much better than what I expected…especially for the price. The kids enjoyed watching the cooks toss pizza up in the air and i can say we will definitely be returning for kids night. You can’t beat a 99 cent kid’s meal.
Good locally owned pizza place. Had a great pizza here last night. Locally owned which is nice. Prices were lower than we expected in this neighborhood.
Great Pizza. We had a great time here last night. The new owners have really turned this place around. The kids loved the chalk board wall and game room. The pizza was full of fresh flavors and Im not sure what kind of cheese they use but it was gooey and delicious. Great Job we will be back..
Pizza at It’s best!. We had a Veggie Pizza with a Martha’s Vineyard Salad and garlic knots. The ingredients tasted fresh and the service was pretty good, i.e. The pizza & garlic knots came out hot. The place is family friendly and very clean. Also, the menu was uncluttered and easy to follow. Great pizza in Cummings?, Who knew?
NEW OWNERS NEW ATTITUDE. My husband and I were in on Friday with our two children and two of their friends. The portions and prices were great. Our server was very attentive and our drinks were never empty. Also with so many little ones the floors and bathrooms were very clean. The chalk board wall was too cute and great for everyone to color…
Terrible staff manners. Stopped into Pepperoni’s Pizza (5063 Post Rd) this evening. It was still 40 minutes til close, and Several employees were inside. We have never been in the establishment, so it took a few minutes to realize we were to order up front. Not one person was willing to make eye contact or say ‘hello’ to us. I wanted to leave, but my wife wanted to give it a try. We walked up to the front to order, and nobody moved to serve us. Finally, my wife was convinced and we left. We went to Calabria Pizza & Subs (678) 867-2625 4910 Atlanta Hwy, Alpharetta, GA 30004. They immediately welcomed us to the restaurant. The waitresses were very nice. I was very pleased with my eggplant parm. My wife and kids were happy with their calzone and pizzas. During the meal, the owner came out and talked to us. Calabria was a wonderful experience. As for Pepperoni’s, the only thing I can say is ‘Thank You for making me a Calabria diner!’
