LOUSY SERVICE. Was in F.O. during lunch and decided to stop in as I haven’t eaten here in several years. The food was ok but the service was horrible. The waiter never returned to check on me or see if I needed anything or brought me my check. After being ignored I eventually got the attention of another waiter and asked for my check and a carry out box. He never returned and I finally just got up and went to the front desk. Will not be returning.
Dissatisfied. The food was ok but they give u very small portions. it like they just leave a stain on ur plate with the beans and rice. The burritos are very small as well. Not worth wat u will pay.
Good Mexican Restaurant. El Matador has very good food. I only have two problems with them. #1. The seating is too close. #2. Their burritos are the smallest burritos that I have ever purchased at any Mexican restaurant. Overall though, I think that they are probably the best Mexican restaurant in the Chattanooga area. I highly recommend them!

The staff was friendly when they would actually attend to you. The food was okay but nothing extrodinary. I would have more satisfyed with taco bell.
Milanesa !!!. This is one of the few local mexican restaurants that has milanesa ! I love this dish and if it was the only thing they served I would come here for it alone. I don’t know exactly how often as I usually don’t eat in Ft. Oglethorpe but I love milanesa and they do it right!!! The other things not so much, but this is worth it as you will not find it too often.
Bland, Boring & Burnt. Lunch with a freind and my son on a Saturday afternoon. Salsa was like red water with cilantro added. Service was minimal and they were not very friendly. Steak fajitas so poorly cooked that I could have tied laces on them and worn them as shoes. I ordered an unsweet tea and it tasted like brown water. I sent it back and asked for a diet coke instead. At least they didn’t mess that up. I will no be eating here again any time soon.
