Ate there with wife over GA/FL weekend. Placed was packed but got a seat quickly. Had a burger that was great wife had a salad with steak on top she loved it. Atmosphere just right workers great. A nice place to go towards the north end of the island.

It’s a bar, so it was loud. Food was good, service was not. Our server had way to many tables, and he did not take his time with us. Bathroom was not very clean. Would probably not go back.

Mediocre, overpriced, not what it used to be. I have fond memories of the Brogen’s restaurants, having grown up on St. Simons. I moved out-of-state a few years ago and had lunch at Brogen’s North with family on my most recent visit a few days ago.It was very disappointing. Everything was bland and uninspired, clearly coming directly from a foodservice catalog instead of being freshly prepared as in the past. My formerly favorite item, the Grilled Chicken Swiss sandwich, didn’t really have any redeeming qualities. The chicken was dry, the bacon flavorless; the barnaise sauce was old and had a skin on top.No one in our party cared to finish their entire portion, and one person’s salad arrived on an un-chilled plate with wilted, room temperature greens. It was obvious it had been put together before all of the other food, then left out to sit while the other stuff was prepared. To top it off, the bill for five people with sandwiches and drinks was over $60 — $72 with tip! Ridiculous. I’m not a high-maintenance, pretentious diner, but I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve had better chicken sandwiches at Waffle House. I hate to support chains over local businesses, but there’s a reason Outback does such a good business: their food is freshly prepared from scratch, delicious and worth the price you pay for it.Step it up, Brogen’s.

Careful – map is wrong!. Brogen’s North is on Frederica – north of Sea Island Road. Excellent burgers here.

On the north side of the island and always drive to the farther away Brogans on the peer to get better service and food. Great burgers and most likley the best wings I’ve had on the island for the best price both of these at the peer of course. The pizzas are decent I tried one for take out but had to stand at the bar waiting for 5 minuits or more for the bartender to acnowledge me.!

Oh my goodness!. The burgers are so delicious, but their sweet potato fries are to die for! Friendly staff and good prices.
