This place has the best pizza, best service and generous portions of pizza and beer.
Best pizza on the island… Magic mushroom pizza is where it’s at!
Everything was fresh. The sauce might have been a little to salty but overall really good
Meh. Inedible penne pasta with butter. How in the world can you ruin Penne pasta with butter?? Seriously? Yet, CJ’s ruined it and it tasted horrible. Average pizza. Smallish portions. Salad consisted of uncut lettuce leaves, a half slice of tomato and carrot shavings. Sauce on pasta not that good. Vote number 304 from me. Never will return Merits a thumbs down.
Wonderful, friendly service and great food! The calzone was delicious and enough for two to share. Two thumbs up for sure!!!
Nope. After a long day at the beach, my family though Italian sounded good. We got to-go food from CJs to bring back to our condo. First of all, I should say that their phone etiquette skills were terrible. The person who handled my order was very short and seemed uninterested. Another member of my group went to pick up dinner, and low and behold one of our entrees was missing. I called the restaurant back and got the same person on the phone. I finally talked to a manager who offered to comp the missing entree, but of course I had to drive back and get it. Once I finally got back to the condo to dig into the food, it wasn’t that good. I had chicken parm, while others in my party had spaghetti with meatballs or lasagna. We all agreed it was very tasty. The next time we come to SSI, we won’t be dining here!
Great Experience. CJ’s on St Simon’s Island, is a little restaurant that puts their money into the food rather than the decor. The Pizza is fabulous as is their Spaghetti and Meatballs. Oh, and the blue cheese dressing on their salad was the BEST dressing I have every had. The staff was friendly and the place is popular. Seating is limited and the prices are very affordable. It’s CASH ONLY so be prepared. Marissa and George June 2012.
