We were seated quickly but when asked if we could have the table next to the window, we were informed that the tables were all reserved. However only one reservation showed up during our dinner. We ordered the fried shrimp, fries and hush puppies and all were good. The sweet tea was not sweet (it was not up to the normal southern style sweet tea) and for this reason my husband does not want to go back. The chicken soup was mediocre. The bread was hot and tasted good but was served with a whipped spread that had no flavor. Our server was very nice and attentive.

Service Issues continue. I thought this restaurant had overcome it’s long stanidng services issues until I re-visted this restaurant this evening. 1.5 hours after being seated we were still waiting for our entrees. The hostess (who was sent over by the owner) indicated they had computer issues (the orders were not getting transmitted to the kitchen) and also mentioned they inadvertently overbooked. I am OK with one excuse, but not two!Once our meal was served (1.75 hours after being seated) the mashed potatoes served with the salmon were cold!We do not plan to re-visit this restaurant (and my recommendation is that you do not bother)!
Server. I had brunch with you today, My waiter was a male with a good amount of facial hair. He had a very know it all attitude and made my experience with you just shy of terrible. I will be coming back, but will also request to not have him as my server. On the other hand, I had the Crab cake benedict which was OUTSTANDING!
Food was awesome! Great service! Called ahead for reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival. I had lobster/crab ravioli and hubby had redfish. Dessert was housemade key lime pie. Will definitely go back again!
We went to St Simons a lot in 2011. We have eaten here many times and it does not disappoint. You have to try the butternut squash shrimp and grits.
