Visited this restaurant years ago when it was suggested by the Marriott hotel staff. It was good then & has definitely improved. Beautiful decor, large, plenty of seating. Good parking. Great location right off of I-95. The prices are reasonable & the food is delicious. Our waitress was very knowledgeable & she treated my aging parents with the utmost respect, she had the maturity to communicate effectively with them. She was a complete joy. The restaurant was bustling as most customers were on vacation & staying at one of the nearby hotels. Our food came out quickly & everything was good. Ill definitely visit again!
Been wanting to try this restaurant for sometime as it is often crowned Best Steakhouse in Brunswick by a number of magazines. Pretty close to true since there arent many steakhouses in this area in the first place. Located adjacent to a hotel, it is right off I95. We arrived for an early dinner and waiting or reservations were not needed. No bar specialties or bar menu. Wasnt clear if Yueling was only available beer as no others were listed. I ordered a NY Strip which was happily replaced with a filet after I expressed some concern over the toughness of the cut. The bread served was not impressive and didnt have much taste. The dipping oil was mostly olive oil with a sprinkle of herbs. The steak was very good with deep flavors and included a choice of sides and options to pair with other menu selections. I chose a crab cake which was surprisingly good. Dessert was very good and shareable. Service was excellent. The best in area? Sure, Ill go along with that, but competition is lacking!
