Fabulous 5 stars. I have a wonderful experience at the Sandcastle Cafe and Grill. My breakfast was cooked to perfection. The homemade muffins and fresh fruit were fabulous and all at a reasonable cost. Highly recommend that if you are on St. Simon Island that you make this a place to eat and enjoy.

Chef Salad. This was a 1/2 salad for $8. It was exactly what I love in a salad. The honey mustard dressing on the side was a course ground Dijon mustard that was potent, but very tasty.13 Mar, 2015Seafood Soup. A clam chowder with shrimp and clam. This is a salad bowl that was only $6. It was delicious.
Hostess was incredibly rude and skipped over us in seating rotation. Should have just went to the Waffle House. Smdh
Scary. Ate at sandcastle….will not eat there again. The health department should check on this restaurant because staff cannot seem to keep their hands out of their hair, nose and face! I watched while choc milk was being made. I was horrified as I watched staff wipe her nose, open Hershey choc cap to prepare milk. Grossed me out. Breakfast buffet was mediocre ….
Great Breakfast. If you love a really good breakfast with variety, then this is the place for you. The breakfast bar doesn’t disappoint. Everything was good. My husband and I dined on Saturday and went back on Sunday while visiting the island from Jacksonville, FL. This is truly what a breakfast bar should be…coffee and juice included, eggs cooked to your liking, and choice of waffles, pancakes, or French toast brought to you from the kitchen…now that’s what I’m talking about. This place is a MUST if you want a delicious breakfast, and it’s easy on the wallet. 🙂
Best Breakfast but try Lunch Too. We have been going to Sandcastle breakfast buffet for years but recently gave lunch a try. I was very surprised and pleased with the food on the lunch menu. The salads are huge, the shrimp fresh and the patty melt was excellent! Staff is always friendly. Definitely do breakfast if you can but lunch is so good I wish they were open for dinner! They do close at 2:30.
