A wonderful, but old fashion Bakery!. As we entered the bakery, we were pleasantly overwhelmed with a delightful aroma of the assorted cakes and pastries! Our favorite purchases included Lemon Squares, Wedding Cake Cookies, and a Six Layer Chocolate Cake. I’m telling you that these items were all ‘mouth-watering’ great! However, do not go there if you are seeking an up scale, wham bam, thank you mam store with a huge inventory. Every worker in the place are spooning batter or spreading icing. In other words…it is a very nice and friendly bakery! We enjoyed it.
Gross. Do not waste your time with this bakery. First of all they are extremely unprofessional. Second, the cakes taste like they came from a box. I was looking for a local place to do my wedding cake. I called to get pricing as I actually live out of town. They say that they cannot give pricing info over the phone. They then tell me that I need to come in for a cake testing, but they only do this on Tuesday and Thursday (Hello!!! People work during the week!!!). After waiting for weeks for replies via email I finally got the lady to make a sample box that I could pick up on a Friday afternoon. When I got there the cake slices were all damaged and smooshed together. Some slices were dry as a bone, the traditional wedding cake was so sweet it made my teeth hurt, the lemon barely tasted like lemon, and the raspberry tasted like low quality fake jam that was sickly sweet. Not impressed at all. Then, when looking at their handy work on fb it became apparent that the quality of their work varys greatly. Some cakes look good…others (tiered) were not even close to being centerd. All in all, these women are not professional, not cooperative, and bottom line…the cakes are not worth whatever the cost is. (I am STILL not sure about that either!!!!!)
