My family lived on St. Simons Island for 10+ years and Sweet Mama’s was a staple. We love the staff, who are friendly just extremely busy trying to keep up with the demand for their great food. The sandwiches and salads are very good but you can NOT beat their cookies and bars or their danish (cheese danish is to die for). My husbands favorite was always the sticky buns and if you are a chocolate lover you must try the Sonny’s Delight! I have never had a bad experience there and it is always the first and last place we go when we visit. We miss you Ms. Marsha!Brian, Nancy, Austin and Sidney Farley
I’ve been going to Sweet Mama’s for years, and their staff has always been impatient and unfriendly, but the food was worth putting up with it. The staff are still kind of surly and quality of the food has declined. No longer worth it.
Best cookies and cake bars ever. Try pork poppers for breakfast too. Cream cheese Danish is off the chart.
Try the Chicken Melt. The chicken melt was fabulous. It was so juicy and tasty I could go for one right now. I look forward to trying other items on their menu in the future.
