My wife and I had shrimp poboys for dinner. These were good as were the baked potato and cheese grits we had as sides. Cheese grits are not a commonly offered side in Mississippi where we live. I have enjoyed getting them on our current trip through FL and GA. The service at Zachrys was good as well.
Food is average at best. Service is very poor. First and last visit for us. Prices are pretty high for the quality of food and service. Very noisy place. Usuallydo not rate places this low, but we were very disappointed.
Had an early dinner here and found Zachry’s very good. I had been looking for a respectable steak and found it here. Although I ordered a New York Strip, they accidentally prepared a rib eye. They offered to replace it, but I took the more expensive rib eye for the NY strip price. It was prepared as ordered and the two sides very good. Others had their fried shrimp which is the best in Golden Isles. Service was good and with the exception of the mix up in the cut, served hot and quickly.
