Rough Night?. Head to Zuzu’s. Burger with homemade pimento cheese, fries and a Coke with crushed ice. So the fries were too salty. But the friendly service … down home atmosphere … affordable prices and central location … All that, got me through the day —
The best in the village!!!!. Oooooo, we loved ZuZu’s. After a hot afternoon fishing for blue crabs at the pier, a couple of blue cheese burgers and fresh cut fries is the perfect break. The soft drinks are a nice size and have that tiny ice that is easy to chew! The atmosphere is low key and diner like, and the owner is personable and loves kids! Try their ice cream, the frozen yogert place next door is a chain store, but ZuZu’s is a Saint Simons one-of-a-kind.
Pass. We ate there a few days ago. The food was bad, the service was bad…won’t be back…
Great burgers and desserts. Looking for a quick easy meal after a day on the beach, we stopped in at Zuzu’s (near the pier in the village). It looked ready to close and a little questionable but we decided to give it a try. We ordered a couple of their cooked to order burgers, fries, onion rings and drinks. Everything was great. My fried green tomato burger was excellent but the peach lemonade was my favorite part. They started with hand squeezed lemonade, blended fresh peaches as I watched and mixed it together. Our food was so good we returned the next day for ice cream and smoothies and were impressed again. We won’t be able to go back to St. Simons without stopping at Zuzu’s. bbqreview.blogspot.com
We happened upon Zuzu’s and truly found a great spot! The burgers are great! My husband ordered an orangeade and our toddler tasted it and drank about half before we knew it. The waitress was super nice and saw how much our son was enjoying it that she brought over a small one just for him. The orangeade is fresh squeezed when you order it. Needless to say, we went to Zuzu’s everyday we were in Saint Simons for fresh squeezed orangeade. We just wish we had the recipe. We will definitely be back at Zuzu’s when we visit the island again!
Pleasently suprised. Honestly I couldn’t decide which restaurant I wanted to eat at while visiting St Simons Island. Zuzus looked like yester year. It pulled us in. I have to say it was nothing like I expected. I do believe I had the best burger I have ever had . It was there mushroom and Swiss burger. Yhe meat is so fresh and the patty was obviously hand made. The people working there were just wonderful. They were so happy to answer questions and make suggestions. The atmosphere was like a step back in time, it felt so relaxing. I am so happy we found Zuzus. Im looking forward to out next visit to St. Simons because now Zuzus will be a required part of our trip.
