Better options. The pizza is pretty bland, but the calzones are pretty good.All in all, there are better places to grab a pizza than here. But the atmosphere and location really help it to stay in line with the rest of them.
Slices griffin, GA. Tracy Wallace (owner/ Manager??) approached me during my first visit at Slices and told me that he had seen me before and I did not tip his waitresses enough( this was my first experience here and I left a $5 tip for a $10 order!, and are managers even allowed to say something to customers about tipping???) Wallace told me I was not allowed back in his restaurant if I wan’t going to tip well enough!! He clearly had me confused with someone else, but would not listen to me as I assured him it was my first time eating there. I will NEVER return to Slices or any of Wallace’s restaurants and I have informed my family and friends of this experience and they will never eat at one of his restaurants either.
Great Idea. This is the first place my husband and I ate when we moved to Griffin, and it almost instantly became a favorite. Single slices of whatever pizza you want? Awesome! This is a really unique idea, at least it is the first time I have come across this sort of place. My husband and I almost never completely agree on pizza toppings, so it is pretty cool that we don’t have to compromise at Slices. Not to mention that it means we don’t have to throw away left overs or feel bad about eating an entire pizza 🙂 Though, of course, the pizza at Slices is good enough to eat an entire pie.The side salad is great, too. Fresh ingredients, and the house dressing is delicious! And let’s not get started on the sandwiches. I thought I had died and gone to heaven when I saw the Turkey Terrific— basically Thanksgiving on a bun. And the pasta salad is really great– a nice pesto base with bowtie. Can’t complain about that.
Great Pizza. I love this place. Great pizza and I really like the salads. Service sometimes slow but food always good.
Slices in griffin. Great atmosphere. It’s a small place, but well done. Staff are very friendly, good beer on draft. Best pizza in Griffin, fresh ingredients. Always end up hanging out there a while.
Nice. Really good food and a nice atmosphere. Not staffed quite the way you would like, but if you relax, you’ll enjoy it.
