This is far from New York style pizza. Doesn’t even come close. The dough has a sweetness to it as well as the sauce. Obviously people have never had NY or good Italian pizza before.
Well I ordered my wife and I bruschetta for an appetizer and the bread came out cold, no fresh basil, the cheese appeared to be shredded from a bag and half melted. It was truly a poor site to see. Do not make judgement on the armandos chain after eating here, the other restaurants I’ve been too have been great. I will not be back.
No longer a fan…. It’s always nice when new restaurants open in small towns for variety. For years, we’ve been going to the Harlem location and for the longest time food was great and prices were good. The past few times there’s been some serious quality issues with the food, although service is most of the time top notch. The menu prices have gone up, there’s some ridiculous increases in additional items and the portion sizes keep getting smaller with less of everything in the items. Apparently chef uses his discretion as to how seriously customer concerns are treated, but if owner had been there things may had been different. Not looking for free food, just consistency and respect to address our concerns, as loyal customers. VERY disappointed!
Great New York Style Pizza!. If you’re like me and you’re originally from the North where you’re used to New York Style Pizza with hand made fresh crust, and you’re tired of the chains, go to Armando’s! If you like a little Spanish flair with your pizza, get the Pernil pizza (Spanish pulled pork) with their special mojito sauce. You will love it! Italian subs are great too just to name a few.
Hi my name is Traivon. I ate at from Armando’s for the first time yesterday and I was very impressed. The customer service was great, and the pizza I ordered had the real authentic Italian taste. I will be returning very soon!
Sloooow service, literally a single waitress at dinner time who was obviously overwhelmed. Always great food.
Greatest pizza I have had in years. The sauce is authentic New York. Each slice folds easily in your hand and crust has the right amount of chewiness. You need to make the trip to Groveton if you are near the Fort Gordon/Augusta area.
