Pretty good food! I was rather impressed with the chicken finger sandwich! I will definitely be visiting there more than just once! Well worth a try for any first timers.
The meat is cheap, the toppings are unremarkable, the buns taste like they came off of a truck. It’s a fair deal for the price but I don’t know why people like this place so much.
Excellent burgers and beef hotdogs, casual yet cozy decor. Try the loempias/lumpias!. Been here several times and it has become one of my chosen places to showcase Augusta and its metro area to guests. The burgers are delicious. The meat is well cooked and tastes high quality. Same with the beef hotdogs (hope they come nitrates/nitrites free). And for those with big appetites or who like to share portions, there’s the Big Kahuna (1 lb burger) and Beef Long Board (0.5 lb hotdog) to get you going–and of course the hamburger challenge. The decor is casual–benches and stools for seating. It is burgers and hotdogs after all, so the BBQ get-together arrangement is congruent, cozy, and much appreciated. The potato fries and drinks could be much better. Actual potatoes cut into 3/8in sticks (preferably with skin still on) and DOUBLE FRIED for a well-cooked interior and crispy exterior should be standard everywhere. And the iced tea didn’t taste as though it was from tea bags or leaves, nor did the juices taste like juice (that is, not juice drinks or fruit-flavored sugar water). Iced tea brewed from tea bags or tea leaves and juices (freshly squeezed or 100% from concentrate) should be standard everywhere as well. The hamburger and hotdog buns could be toasted as well. To really impress, a toasted wheat or especially sourdough (refined flour OK, but preferably wheat) bun could be offered.Ask for lumpia. Just try it! Nuff said.
