Fresh tortillas and yummy horchata. If I’m going to eat Mexican food in Augusta then it has got to be at Mi Riconcito. The tortillas were so fresh it brought a tear to my eye. The salsa was not my favorite, but everything else was to my liking.

Mixed review…stale chips…burrito sauce and taco meat bland. Also had guarache with carne asada and spicy chicken which was excellent. Perfect seasoning on those meats and a great dish. Friendly prompt service and refreshing tasteful sweet tea.

Best Mexican food in the area!. I normally do NOT write reviews. Why should I do work that some site benefit from when I am not paid? But in this case I had to respond to the one negative review. Unless the customer caught them on a BAD day, which is possible, this place is truly a hidden gem! Actually, the bad review might help keep this place available for me whenever I want to go there! There is no way this place will go out of business soon. The food is excellent. Being military, I have been stationed in Texas and California. The experience of REAL Mexican food left me always wanting, almost lusting, for REAL Mexican food! I had lost hope, unless I am in California or Texas again or actually visit Mexico, I thought I would never again taste the quality and flavor of good Mexican cuisine. I found this gem when I first moved to Grovetown. After many visits, I generate a smile after every meal there. I smile because it’s a treat to taste the authentic tastes I so long for at times. They are a family run business. The kitchen is in plain view of the counter where you pay. Small and cozy. But in no way is this place romantic. It has comfortable seating and even if they are slow when busy, I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes for my food. They speak English very well, but you can tell it is a second language for the help.If you crave Mexican food that brings you back to something delicious and special in your past…search no more…there it is!

Lunch. Went there for lunch a few weeks ago and I wasn’t impressed at all. Tables were filthy, service was a bit slow and the food was mediocre. Portions were good, and the complimentary chips and salsa were good, but overall the meal was nothing special. This is not a destination restaurant for me, I’d visit again if convenient, but I’d much rather try the other restaurants Grovetown has to offer.

This has to be the best Mexican food east of the Mississippi! Homemade tortillas. Large portions. Fair prices. You know its good when the natives pack in there… A must try when in Augusta, Georgia!

Very good. Has fresh tortillas. The carne asada had grilled jalapeos which were spicy. But realy good. Good selection of import beer. Family owned, great atmosphere.
