Heather F.. Cabos Mexican Grill What makes a restaurant good for most is good service, good food, and a good atmosphere. Cabos is an authentic Mexican grill with three locations around the Atlanta area. It is a great place for people who are local to the Gwinnett county area and people visiting to go. If you are looking for authentic Tex-Mex around the local neighborhood, you should go to Cabos. If the food is great (like it always is), chances are the experience will be great. With the great service, amazing food, and fun atmosphere it makes for a great meal out with family or friends. When walking into a restaurant we all want to be greeted with a smile and for our hunger to be filled as soon as possible. The kind of service Cabos provides lets you get just that. You will be greeted with a smile and the staff is very friendly (N., Angel). As soon as you sit down the chips and salsa will be at your table within minutes. You cannot expect to be seated quickly during their busiest hours but you can expect to be seated with a smile and sufficient service to your needs. If the food is not great then the good service will not matter. Luckily for Cabos, the food is always great. It is not hard to choose a delicious dish from the menu because almost everything [people] have eaten there has been flavorful (B., Rob). The food is just the right amount of everything. Every spice and every ingredient will satisfy all of your taste buds and leave you wanting to come back for more. When you walk in the restaurant you can feel the fun and friendly atmosphere. The paintings on the walls are full of bright colors that grab your attention as soon as you walk in. As Mexican music plays in the background, it adds to the authentic feel of the place. Along with the music you can hear the laughter from the tables around you. Laughter coming from people of all ages, friends or families. The atmosphere is happy and is very accommodating to the overall experience. When people sit down with their company, the atmosphere around them often times makes them not want to leave. Even when Cabos is at their busiest hours, the experience is well worth the wait. It is the best Mexican restaurant in the area. Cabos is better than the others because the food tastes like it was cooked and Mexico and brought to your table. The servers are friendly and never keep you waiting for the things you need. Their attentiveness adds to the special feel in the atmosphere of the restaurant. Cabos is known for their friendly hostesses and waiters, their tasty food, and the intriguing surroundings. No matter what day or time you choose to go to Cabos you will always walk away with a great experience and a smile on your face.
Long time fan. I usually eat at Cabos at least two or three times a week, and have done so for about 6 years. I’m a junkie, what can I say. This is the most consistently good mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. The food is perfect, everytime. I’ve never had a bad meal. They have a lot of custom made meals that you won’t find at any other mexican restaurants. Too many mexican restaurants are carbon copy’s of each other with little difference. Cabos has all the traditional choices you would expect plus a TON more as their menu is huge. The people here are great to. I know pretty much everyone in the restaurant and they always go out of their way to say hello. They’ve also redesigned the inside and now they have a really nice bar area to sit at, which was really needed compared to the way it was setup before. Also – best margaritas on the planet. Hands down, no question about it. Stick with the house margarita instead of texas. They are already really strong, and Texas margaritas just add more liquor and kill the awesome flavor of their margarita mix. Frozen house is the way to go.Bottom line – I happily drive past 2 other mexican restaurants just to get to Cabos (El Molcajete and Dos Copas). No other place compares.
