Awesome Food. I’ve been going to this restaurant for a couple of years. So far, this is the best grand buffet. All the menus are good. I do not have complains. Love it. There is no place in town where u can get such a variety of food for the price. However, the Hibachi man will heckle you for tips. Be prepared.

Better than you might think. As a reasonably savvy human being, I approached Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet with a certain amount of skepticism. More than 250 items on the buffet, ranging from Chinese and Japanese and Sushi to Pizza and Tacos and American Classics? For less than $10 a person? There’s no way this can be any good, I thought to myself. The restaurant is tucked into a pretty generic (and perhaps mildly sketchy) shopping center on Jimmy Carter in Norcross. Inside, however, the space is pretty darn nice. It looks to be freshly renovated ahead of this place’s opening. But the real standout here is the jaw-droppingly huge buffet area. Seriously. This may not have EVERY food item you could possibly hope for, but it’s really not far off. And what’s more astounding, everything ranges from decent to pretty darn good. I know it seems impossible for them to do all 250 items well, but I tried a pretty representative sample and I walked away impressed. The sushi can’t really compete with a high-quality sushi joint, but they had a good selection of rolls and nigiri sushi. Including, might I add, the best inarizushi I’ve had outside of Japan. The fish was fresh-tasting, and they had everything from california and kappa rolls to fancier American-style rolls slathered in sauces and the like. And, hey, it’s all you can you eat. Just this alone is worth the price. If that’s not enough, you can assemble your own hibachi grill meal, cooked teppanyaki-style on the grill right in front of you. This type of food can easy run $15 a person in a dedicated teppanyaki restaurant, so the price of admittance is a bargain. The Chinese food was generally pretty good. I was a little disappointed in the cream cheese wontons, but I generally have high standards and even I went back for a second helping. The General Tso’s and Sesame Chicken were both pretty good, the teriyaki chicken skewers were quite delicious, and my dining companion said the egg drop soup was quite good. The American food was also pretty darn good. I really liked the yeast rolls. They even had a giant glazed ham, if that sort of thing appeals to you. They had a pretty comprehensive salad bar, a good selection of delicious fresh fruit, and a variety of little dessert items. If you miraculously still have room at the end of your meal, they have a self-serve ice cream bar with about 8 different flavors. Despite my initial trepidation about this place, I was forced to admit that my fears were unfounded. I don’t know how they do everything on their huge and varied menu so well, but they certainly make it a palace of gustatory pleasures. I know I’ll be going there regularly, and I encourage you to put aside your skepticism and give it a try.
