Sushi. OMG YUM!!25 Apr, 2015Sushi. Yum!!28 Sep, 2014I love going to Kani House. This restaurant is my break away. I always sit at the sushi bar. The Sushi chefs are very nice. Try the Crystal Roll or the Kani Kazi roll.
Yum!!!. Words can not describe how much i love this restaurant and its staff. I would eat here every meal if possible! The hibachi is fantastic but I always opt for a booth. I get the Oceans 11 role and the chicken fried rice. The ingredients are so fresh and i never worry about what I am consuming. It’s so delicious and my wife loves it even more if possible. The kids always are excited to go and always get excited when they see the fish tank in the lobby. The sushi chefs are so friendly and have come to recognize my family. The manager has gotten to know us and they truly make us feel like family! Best sushi restaurant in Georgia!
Very friendly and attentive staff. Awesome food. Love this place!!
Alternative people not welcomed. Sub-par Sushi served with attitude. My wife and i went there recently and we are alternative in appearance..but we are well mannered and quite.Im not sure if that had anything to do with the haughty attitude of the waitress but we felt maybe it did.The sushi was definitely below average but not horrible. This is the first bad review i’ve ever left for any restaurant.
One of my top 5 sushi spots. Are there better sushi places that are cheaper? I dont know, I’m still looking! Does this one work? Absolutely! My first experience with Kani House was the hibachi. In regards to that, its pretty good. I’m not a HUGE fan of hibachi, but its fun, good, and filling. What more can you want from it?Now the real creme de le creme is the sushi. The sushi, I have found, is constantly good quality. I’ve tried many rolls and found some I dont really like, and some that I do.HOWEVER! The main thing that I love about Kani House, is the staff. Be it the cute girls in kimonos up front, or the sushi chefs at the sushi bar. My first experience at the sushi bar was with a date one late evening — this is when I met Yi. Yi is one of the main chefs, maybe even the head sushi chef… no clue.Yi is an awesome guy. If you go to the sushi bar and at least talk and goof off with the guys behind it, they will take care of you. Yi and I have a friendship that is probably one of the closest that I have had with an employee in a restaurant. If i come in and sit at a table and he sees me, he’ll send out some freebies for my table! Definitely check out Kani House. The sushi can be kind of expensive compared to some, but its good! And the experience is an enjoyable one, unless your antisocial and dont mumble a word and just hand your written order to the waitress.
YUM YUM!. This place is so extravagant. The decor is extremely nice and the atmosphere is relaxing. The dishes are pretty expensive, but I think it’s worth the price because the food here is great. My favorite dishes are all of the udon. YUM! 🙂 By far, I think this is my favorite restaurant.
Disappointing and pricey. This is a busy, nicely decorated Japanese/Sushi restaurant. I am an aficionado of sushi and in Atlanta every Japanese/Sushi I try is compared to the best I have yet found – Sushi Yoshi (Norcross). The Miso Soup was good (not great) and the house salad small. Excellent was the tempura red snapper that was served as a welcome snack. Kani House’s prices are 40% higher that what I pay for sushi/sashimi at Sushi Yoshi and though the portion of fish were large, the quality of was inferior: the salmon was not firm but slightly soft and it had a noticeable grainy texture. I had seven orders of sushi (no drinks) and I paid $33 + tip. Expensive for what I got.
