Worth the trip. I’ve dine at Kingston 30 on quiet a few occasions and the food there is excellent. Tiffany my friend, being a Jamaican myself, I came to realized that people in GA are used to having jerk chicken coming out of the oven, real jerk chicken is done on a grill, smoke flavored and all.
My fianc and I tried this place last night, after a long search for the best authentic jamaican food in Georgia. Well folks I must say after our experience our search continues. I ordered the curry chicken entree which is my usual pick. It was good however I didnt care for the day old veggies and sour plaintains.My fianc on the other hand was disturbed by his jerk chicken platter. Which tasted like grilled chicken with bbq sauce splattered on top. Not the typical herbs n spice blend. All in all not the best jamaican food.. oh and we really enjoyed the old lady answering her cellphone while we were ordering. Customer Service sucked!!!!
Jerk chicken. This place has really good food! Nice friendly staff too! I’ve never eaten Jamaican food before so I’m really glad to discover this restaurant so close to home.
